As an intermediate student, you’ll continue to develop musical imagination and expression. Theoretical knowledge will be integrated into an understanding of each piece of music to encourage musical fluency in the same way that comprehension of language leads to fluent speech.
You’re welcome to try music of different styles that will keep you enjoying music while being challenged to achieve higher levels of technique and artistry.
Royal Conservatory of Music graded repertoire is introduced wherever appropriate, especially when this would complement your musical goals.
For those who are ready and wish to gain feedback from other teachers while sharing music with peers, music festivals/competitions are a great option.
